About Us
Kestrel Health Information, Inc., a Vermont-based company, was formed in 1996 to provide wound care professionals clinically-reviewed, non-biased wound care hospital supplies information.
WoundSource: The Kestrel Wound Product Sourcebook, was first published in 1998 and now includes well over 1,000 products manufactured by over 150 wound care companies. The products covered for wound management include bandages, wound dressings, burn treatment, nutritional supplements, the wound VAC and other products for the treatment of lymphedema, peptic ulcer, leg ulcers, bed sores and other related conditions.
Today, Kestrel has expanded beyond print to offer product information-oriented online vehicles to health care marketers. Kestrel has brought its model to the similarly-structured incontinence, diabetes, infection control, bariatrics and dermatology markets.
