Tracheostomy and Tube Sites

Mode of Use/Application

Before applying the dressing, cleanse the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser such as Vashe® Wound Solution. Fit Drawtex® Tracheostomy around the tube; it does not matter which side is in contact with the skin. Interlock the dressing above the tube. If required, the dressing may be cut to fit the tube shape.

Removal & Change Frequency

Once the dressing is saturated it should be changed immediately. Remove the retention dressing or bandage carefully and lift the dressing away from the wound.
