Non/Minimally Exudating Wounds
It is recommended that the wound bed be debrided of any necrotic or sloughy fibrotic tissue. Cleanse the wound per facility protocol. Apply HYCOL® Hydrolyzed Collagen Gel to cover the entire wound bed and the edges of the wound, including any areas of undermining or tunneling. Cover with an appropriate non-adherent secondary dressing. Infected wounds are treated per physician direction. It is recommended to clean cap tip with isopropyl alcohol prior to puncturing the tube seal.
Reapply a minimum of two to three times per week or as necessary.
Cover with an appropriate dressing that provides a moist wound-healing environment.
