Restore® Contact Layer with Silver and TRIACT™ Technology
Restore® Contact Layer with Silver and TRIACT™ technology is sterile, non-adhesive, non-occlusive and antimicrobial. Promotes moist wound interface and virtually pain-free dressing changes due to unique, patented TRIACT™ technology. Sustained antimicrobial activity for up to seven days.
• May remain in place up to seven days, reducing dressing changes and nursing time
• Non-adhesive and non-occlusive removal that minimizes damage to new skin
• Antimicrobial activity sustained for up to seven days to prevent infection
• Silver is released as exudate is absorbed into the dressing
• Non-adhesive dressing ensures a reduced-pain removal
• Moist environment promotes healing
The barrier functions of Restore® Contact Layer with Silver may help reduce infection in minimally to moderately exuding partial- and full-thickness wounds, including second-degree burns, pressure ulcers, venous insufficiency ulcers, diabetic ulcers and graft and donor sites.
Restore® Contact Layer with Silver should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to silver or who have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or one of its components.
Restore® Contact Layer with Silver tends to stick to latex gloves. Moisten latex gloves with normal sterile saline prior to use.
Concomitant use of other antimicrobial agent is not recommended.
Use in pregnant or breast-feeding women and newborns has not been studied.
Do not reuse the dressing.
Store the dressing at room temperature.

Non/Minimally Exuding Wounds
Clean the wound using sterile saline solution. Choose a dressing size which ensures that the dressing will cover the entire wound. Remove the protective tabs from the dressing. Apply the dressing directly to the wound. Cover it with a secondary dressing and hold it in place using a fixing bandage.
Change dressing every one to three days, depending on the wound and the healing progression. Duration of treatment is determined by the physician and depends on wound type and healing conditions.
