Non/Minimally Exudating Wounds
Before applying the dressing, cleanse the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser.
For dry to low exuding wounds:
Remove and discard blue release liner from dressing. Apply SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing directly to wound with gel side down. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.
For more highly exuding wounds:
Remove and discard blue release liner from dressing. Apply gel side of SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing to appropriate secondary dressing and remove clear backing layer. Apply dressings directly to wound.
SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing is designed to be left in contact with the wound for not longer than seven days. The frequency of dressing change depends on the amount of exudate present and the condition of the wound.
Cover with a secondary dressing of choice.
