Mode of Use/Application

Follow facility guidelines for skin and wound preparation. Apply the appropriate primary dressing. Wrap in a spiral with 50% overlap, beginning at the base of the toes and finishing 1cm-2cm below the knee.

Removal & Change Frequency

Up to 7 days depending on drainage and reduction in edema.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Apply an absorbent primary dressing to the wound before using Unna-Z™. Highly absorbent dressings appropriate for heavily draining venous leg ulcers and effective under compression include Qwick™ and OptiLock®.
