Mary Ann (Molly) Sammon, BSN, RN, CWCN, is a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse with decades of experience. Although recently retired, she was instrumental in the ALLEVYN LIFE conversion to reduce cost and incidence of pressure injuries within Cleveland Clinic, a project which started in the Heart and Vascular Institute’s OR and ICUs. She has product and practice experience in the OR, ICU and general care floors. Molly is recognized nationally for her expertise, has a publication about this work, and has presented the outcomes internationally.
