Chicago, IL: The 7th Meeting of the American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair (ACWH) will take place October 5-6, 2018 in Chicago, IL at the Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile.

William J. Ennis, DO, MBA, MMM, CPE; William W. Li, MD; and Thomas F. O’Donnell, Jr., MD, will return this year as course directors, and, alongside new and veteran faculty, lead a multidisciplinary agenda featuring the latest in research, technology, and health policy as it relates to wound care.

“This year’s meeting will include live cases from wound clinics, interactive intraoperative cases, and a series of speakers and topics that you won’t see at other wound meetings. ACWH 2018 will bring together general surgeons, vascular surgeons, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists, researchers, wound care specialists, and other allied health care professionals for the advancement of wound care. Both veterans and beginners alike will come away from the meeting with tips to apply to their practices and professional careers right away.

The meeting provides physicians the opportunity to earn up to 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. The conference will also provide continuing education credits for nurses and podiatrists.

The American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Chicago, Illinois committed to advancing the field of wound care through education, research, and advocacy. The College fosters the training of medical professionals through the sharing of a physician-based, clinical fellowship curriculum developed in conjunction with the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and allied healthcare colleges and programs. The ultimate goal of the organization is to designate wound care as a board-certified medical specialty.
