Indications

Comfort Release® Bandages are for use on patients requiring comfort during wear time and removal or those with frail or sensitive skin to prevent pain, irritation, and skin tears.

Warnings and Precautions

Should not be used on any patient who has known adverse reactions to medical-grade acrylic adhesives or rubbing alcohol. Do not reuse bandages.

Storage Requirements

Store in a sealed pouch, in a cool and dry place at room temperature 59°F-86° F (15°C-30°C); avoid moisture and sunlight.

Mode of Use/Application

Made especially for frail elderly, immunocompromised, or sensitive skin. Apply to clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils.

Removal & Change Frequency

To remove a dry bandage, just swipe with rubbing alcohol. Alcohol prep pads are included in some product boxes or will need to be purchased separately. You may also use cotton balls soaked with rubbing alcohol to remove the bandage.

Construction

Comfort Release® adhesive bandages comes in 2 sizes. The bandages are constructed with a plant-based polymer added to a medical grade acrylic adhesive that allows for more secure adhesion to the skin but releases from the skin painlessly and trauma-free (when removed as directed).
