Abstract
We report 4 clinical cases of large (120-300 cm2), hard-to-heal wounds with unsatisfying healing rates despite personalized standard therapy, including hospitalization and surgery. The lesions are characterized by a particularly long wound onset in patients with sever multi-pathological clinical conditions. Wounds were treated with Nexodyn, a new acid-oxidizing spray solution, characterized by acid (pH95%), used in these patients as a cleanser, moistener and wound lubricator to contribute to microenviornment modulation.
