Mode of Use/Application:

Prior to application, the wound bed should be debrided and then irrigated with an appropriate wound cleanser or distilled water. The dressing should line the entire wound bed and can be cut to size. For heavily exudating wounds, the dressing should be applied directly to the wound bed. For dry wounds or wounds with minimal exudate, the dressing should be pre-moistened with distilled water. The dressing should be covered with a suitable secondary dressing. Dressing may be changed daily or as good nursing practices dictate.

Removal & Change Frequency:

Remove secondary dressing with care. Gently remove ColActive® Transfer ensuring that the dressing removal does not damage delicate newly-formed tissues. If dry, rehydrate dressing with distilled or sterile water to aid in removal. Cleanse the wound site using an appropriate wound cleanser or distilled water prior to application of a new ColActive® Transfer dressing as per directions for use.

Additional Recommended Dressings:

ColActive® Transfer should be covered with an appropriate secondary dressing.
