Indications

3M™ Reston™ Self-Adhering Foam products are designed to protect against skin damage by adhering to splints, casts, and prostheses. The products may be used as padding on devices and surfaces such as beds, chairs, and operating room tables. This product is not designed, sold, or intended for use except as indicated.

Contraindications

This product is not to be used as a dressing in post-surgical treatment procedures such as liposuction.
Skin adherence is not recommended.

Warnings and Precautions

3M™ Reston™ Self-Adhering Foam products are intended for non-sterile use. The product has not been evaluated for use as a compression dressing material in surgical procedures such as liposuction.
3M™ Reston™ Self-Adhering Foam products should not be placed in direct contact with an open wound or skin. Such uses can result in damage to the skin such as blistering or skin tearing which may lead to hypopigmentation and the risk of serious infection.
This product is not to be used as a medical compression bandage.
Not to be used as an absorbent dressing.

Storage Requirements

For best results, store at normal room temperature, 59°F-86°F (15°C-30°C) and out of direct UV light. For shelf life, refer to the expiration date which is printed on the package.

How Supplied/Sizing
Non-sterile. Foam rolls - light support: 4"x196", (3/16)" thickness. Foam pads - medium support: 7(7/8)"x11(3/4)", (7/16)" thickness. High support: 7(7/8)"x11(3/4)", (15/16)" thickness. Conformable pad - high support: 6(1/4)"x7(3/4)".

Mode of Use/Application

Open the package and remove the foam pad. Peel the paper liner from the pad, exposing the adhesive. Apply the adhesive side to the various surfaces listed in the indications for use.

Polyurethane foam, paper liner, acrylate adhesive.
