AmnioMatrix® Human Amniotic Suspension Allograft is used in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds including, but not limited to: diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, inflammatory ulcers and burns.
AmnioMatrix® Human Amniotic Suspension Allograft should not be used in the presence of active infection or on patients with a known sensitivity to ethanol.
AmnioMatrix® Human Amniotic Suspension Allograft is suitable for transplantation in an unopened, undamaged package.
This allograft is intended for single use only. Discard any unused material.
Use is limited to specific health professionals (e.g., physicians).
Once the expiration date on the label has been reached, the allograft must be discarded.
Do not use if the package integrity has been violated, is opened or damaged or if mishandling has caused possible damage or contamination.
Although donor tissue is evaluated and processed following strict FDA guidelines, the donor screening methods are limited and may not detect all diseases. As with any allograft, an absolute guarantee of tissue safety is not possible. This allograft has the potential to transmit infectious disease to the recipient.
AmnioMatrix® Human Amniotic Suspension Allograft should be stored at -60°C or below. Check the label for expiration.
