Debride and irrigate the wound bed with an appropriate wound cleanser or distilled water before application. Apply powder generously and directly to the wound bed, covering the entire wound bed and edges, including any tunneling or undermining areas. For dry wounds, the powder can be moistened with distilled water or an appropriate wound cleanser prior to or after application to the wound bed. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.
At dressing changes, cleanse the wound and reapply the collagen powder daily or as directed by health care professional. Change ColActive® Plus Ag Powder daily or according to clinical protocol.
