Prepare the wound according to wound management protocols. If necessary, properly debride the wound prior to first use. Select a DevraSorb™ dressing that is at least (1/2)"-1" larger than the wound. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Place the DevraSorb™ dressing on the wound bed with the absorbent foam side against the wound. For the non-adhesive dressing, secure using medical grade tape, gauze wrap, elastic wrap or other fixation.
DevraSorb™ dressings may be left in place up to seven days. Change if fluid reaches an edge of the dressing.
