• Excellent absorption rate and promotes healing through a moist wound environment
• Reduces the risk of maceration
• Sustained antimicrobial release and effectiveness for up to seven days
• Waterproof top-sheet with high moisture vapor transmission rate to help reduce friction and shear
• Soft and conformable and easy on the skin
GEMCORE360°™ PHMB Antimicrobial Foam Border Dressings are indicated for use in the management of post-surgical incisions, pressure injuries, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, first- and second-degree burns, dermatologic disorders, other wounds inflicted by trauma and as a secondary dressing or cover dressing for packed wounds.

Moderate/Highly Exudating Wounds
If necessary, cleanse the wound area with a non-toxic cleansing solution (i.e., saline). Dry the surrounding areas of the wound thoroughly before dressing application.
Select a size of GEMCORE360˚ PHMB Foam Border Dressing where the foam pad is slightly larger than the wound.
The foam pad size should be such that it extends well beyond the open wound at (least 0.75" or 2cm) in all directions.
Remove the release liners from the wound dressing and avoid touching the central part of the dressing that will be placed directly onto the wound.
Center the dressing on the wound and apply it gently to the wound site. Press the dressing on the surrounding skin by gentle application of pressure.
The GEMCORE360˚ PHMB Foam Border Dressing can remain in situ for up to seven days, dependent on patient condition and the level of exudate. Initially, it may be necessary to change the dressing every 24 hours or whenever good wound care practice dictates. Duration of product use is not recommended for longer than 30 days. Do not exceed a maximum of 12 dressing changes for adults or six dressing changes for children/neonates during 30 days of product use.
Gently remove the dressing from the wound bed and dispose of according to local procedures and guidelines.
If required, cleanse the wound site with a suitable wound cleanser prior to application of a new dressing.
May be left in place for up to seven days.
