The Invia® Motion™ - 15 Days Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System is indicated for use on diabetic neuropathic ulcers, pressure or venous insufficiency ulcers, chronic wounds, traumatic wounds, acute or subacute wounds, dehisced wounds, partial-thickness burns, flaps and grafts.
Contraindicated for use in the presence of: malignancy of the wound, untreated osteomyelitis, non-enteric fistula, unexplored fistula, necrotic tissue with eschar present, exposed vasculature, exposed nerves, exposed anastomotic site of blood vessels or bypass or exposed organs.

Preparation for Use:
Connect the canister/tubing set to the pump by inserting and rotating the canister/tubing set to secure. Prepare the carrying case by adjusting shoulder/belt strap. Insert the Motion device and canister/tubing set into the carrying case. Connect the canister tubing to the wound drain tubing or dressing interface.
Operating Instructions:
Turn the device on. Default pressure setting is -125mmHg in constant therapy mode. To change pressure setting, press and hold for three seconds "pressure level button". Press the button until desired pressure setting is displayed on screen. Pump automatically sets after five seconds of no button activity.
Power Supply and Battery Management:
A fully charged battery can be expected to delivery therapy for approximately 10 hours. An acoustic signal will sound when there is approximately 30 minutes of battery life left. If the battery is fully empty, it will take approximately four hours to fully charge. It is recommended that the pump remain connected to an AC power source when the patient is not mobile or is resting.
Notifications and Troubleshooting:
Invia® Motion™ - 15 Days has five acoustic and visual notifications for effective use. Each notification has image and text troubleshooting tips for easy reconciliation.
End of Life and Disposal:
Invia® Motion™ - 15 Days provides up to 15 days of uninterrupted NPWT therapy plus an additional 72 hours of safety time. At the end of use, the pump can be disposed in accordance with local disposal regulations or returned to Medela.

Routine dressing changes should occur every 48-72 hours. Dressing changes for infected wounds should be considered more frequently.
Dressing (wound contact layer, wound filler, wound cover, drain and External Suction Interface (ESI)) should be changed every 48 to 72 hours, but no less than three times a week, or as instructed by the health care professional.
Change canister/tubing set when full or with dressing changes.
