Proximel® Ag Border is indicated for pressure injuries, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, and partial-thickness burns.
Do not use Proximel® Ag Border on patients with a known sensitivity to silver or any other contents of the dressing.
This product is for single use.
Do not use if the pouch is damaged or opened.
Do not use this product on dry wounds.
Do not use Proximel® Ag Border together with oxidizing agents, such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide.
Proximel® Ag Border may cause transient discoloration of the wound bed and surrounding skin. Frequent or prolonged use of this product may result in permanent discoloration of the skin.
Proximel® Ag Border does not replace the need for systematic therapy or other adequate infection treatment in the event of clinical infection.
Do not use during radiation treatment or examinations, such as x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, or diathermy.
Avoid contact with electrodes or conductive gels during electronic measurements, such as electrocardiograms (ECG) and electroencephalograms (EEG).
Discontinue use if reddening or sensitization occurs.
Proximel® Ag Border is only for external use.
An individual Proximel® Ag Border wear time is no more than 7 days.
Proximel® Ag Border is intended for short-term use up to 28 days.
Store at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture. Do not use if package is damaged.

Clean the wound using normal procedures. Thoroughly dry the surrounding skin. Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch. The dressing should overlap the dry surrounding skin by at least 0.4"-0.8" (1cm-2cm) for the smaller sizes and 2" (5cm) for the larger sizes.
