The Retentus® TS-301 Tissue Stabilizer is used in conjunction with a sterile dressing. Apply the sterile dressing first. After the sterile dressing has been applied, use tabs to remove backing to expose the silicone gel. Once backing is removed, apply gel-side first to one side of the buttocks and smooth down to the skin. Holding the applied side, stretch the device over to the other side and attach to dermis. Smooth the entire device down on the skin. Check that the wound dressing is completely covered by the Retentus® TS-301 Tissue Stabilizer material.
Peeling back slowly, remove the Retentus® TS-301 Tissue Stabilizer slowly while supporting the skin with the other hand. If soiled, it should be removed and washed with mild soap and water, rinsed with water, patted dry, then reapplied.
