Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B, featuring DACC Technology, is a bacteria-binding hydropolymer gel dressing that balances absorption and hydration, reducing bacteria load, promoting autolytic debridement and reducing the risk of maceration.
• Innovative hydropolymer gel dressing provides absorbency with balanced hydration
• Stimulates autolytic debridement of fibrin and necrotic tissue
• Helps prevent maceration
• Ideal for absorption of thin exudate
Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B is indicated for use in the management of low to moderate exuding partial- to full-thickness wounds (including clean, colonized, contaminated or infected wounds): chronic wounds (venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers), postoperative dehisced wounds and traumatic wounds.
Do not use Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B on dry wounds or cavity wounds. Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to the dressing components.
Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B is packaged for single use. Do not re-use or re-sterilize as there is a risk of cross-contamination. Do not use if pouch is opened or damaged. Discard any open dressings. Frequency of dressing change of Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B is dependent upon the wound condition and exudate level. Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B can remain in place for up to four days.
When in contact with wound exudate, the highly absorbent hydropolymer matrix changes from yellow to brown, indicating the dressing has become saturated. When exudate absorption is observed at 1cm (3/8") from matrix edge, maximum absorption has been reached and dressing should be changed.
Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B is suitable for use in combination with low pressure compression therapy for contaminated, colonized or infected exuding wounds.
Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B should not be cut to shape wound. Avoid overlapping two or more Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B dressings.
Do not use Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B in combination with ointments or creams.
Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B should be stored in dry conditions below 25°C (77°F).
Keep dry.
