Devices placed directly on or integrated into a semi-electric or total electric hospital bed frame. They may utilize air, fluid, foam, gel, water or a combination of these components to distribute pressure and reduce friction and shear forces. They generally have a durable waterproof cover. Indicated for patients with Stage II, III or IV pressure ulcers or post-operative myocutaneous flaps or skin grafts.
