Endoform® Natural is a unique, ovine extracellular matrix (ECM) for acute and chronic wounds. Becomes incorporated into the wound and provides porous scaffold for cell infiltration to build new tissue.
• An intact extracellular matrix which supports all phases of healing
• Provides a natural, porous scaffold for rapid cell infiltration
• Contains 150+ ECM proteins important for healing
• Broad-spectrum modulation of wound proteases
• Accessible to patients and clinicians from day one
Endoform® Natural is indicated for the management of acute and chronic wounds including partial- and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, surgical wounds (donor sites, grafts, post-Mohs surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric and wound dehiscence), traumatic wounds (abrasions, lacerations, first- and second-degree burns and skin tears) and draining wounds.

Moderate/Highly Exudating Wounds
Non/Minimally Exudating Wounds
Select a sheet of Endoform® Natural which is slightly larger than the wound and apply it aseptically. The sheet can be applied whole or trimmed to contact the wound margins. Multiple sheets can be used to cover the entire wound bed. For ease of handling, apply Endoform® Natural by placing the dry material in the wound and rehydrating with exudate or sterile saline until moistened. Ensure that Endoform® Natural conforms to the underlying wound bed. When rehydrated, Endoform® Natural transforms into a soft conforming sheet. To protect Endoform® Natural from adhering to the cover dressing, consider applying a non-adherent dressing over the top. If antimicrobial properties are warranted, consider using Endoform® Antimicrobial instead. The secondary dressing should be changed according to standard of care, taking into account the level of exudate.
At the next dressing change, carefully cleanse the wound surface in accordance with established procedures. Endoform® Natural is naturally incorporated into the wound over time. At the next dressing change (three to seven days after), residual Endoform® Natural may or may not be observed depending on wound protease levels. If no residual Endoform® Natural is observed in the wound bed, consider increasing the amount applied to help modulate protease levels. If some residual Endoform® Natural is observed, this indicates that protease levels are balanced. Do not debride, as it contains extracellular matrix components that assist in wound healing. If the product has overlapped onto the periwound area, it may be gently removed around the edges if desired. Depending on the exudate color, residual Endoform® Natural may appear off-white to golden. Gently irrigate and re-apply Endoform® Natural at the same amount as the previous application or less. Change the cover dressing as needed, and when Endoform® Natural is re-applied.
