3C Patch® is made from the patient's own blood with no additional reagents or additives. The three layer patch includes fibrin for moisture retention and strength, platelets for growth factor release and leukocytes from the patient's blood.

The 3C Patch® System is intended to be used at point-of-care for the safe and rapid preparation of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) gel from a small sample of a patient's own peripheral blood. Under the supervision of a health care professional, the PRP gel produced by the 3C Patch® System is topically applied for the management of exuding cutaneous wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers and mechanically or surgically debrided wounds.
Contraindicated for use on actively infected wounds, patients with malignant wounds, patients with sepsis or bacteraemia, patients with large wounds, active systemic disorders and abnormal laboratory tests. See instruction for use for further details.

The 3CP™ Centrifuge and the 3CP® Device work together as a system. The sterile 3C Patch® Device is a precision engineered mini cell processor working together with the specially designed centrifuge that drives the patented 3CP® System to form the autologous leukocyte and platelet rich fibrin patch (The 3C Patch®) from an 18ml blood sample. The 3C Patch® is applied directly to the wound surface and covered with the supplied non-adherent dressing.
