Moderately/Highly Exudating Wounds
It is recommended that the wound bed be debrided of any necrotic or sloughy fibrotic tissue. Cleanse the wound per facility protocol. Apply HYCOL® Hydrolyzed Collagen Powder to cover the entire wound bed and the edges of the wound, including any areas of undermining or tunneling. Cover with a secondary dressing appropriate for the level of drainage. Infected wounds are treated per physician direction.
Reapply a minimum of two to three times per week or as necessary.
Cover with an appropriate dressing that provides a moist wound-healing environment.
