• Permeable and flexible, allowing it to be used over most wound sites under an absorbent outer dressing
• Tears easily and uniformly for dressing customization as it is made from high-density polyethylene
• Compatible with most topical agents, liquids and creams
• Covers the wound and allows removal with less disturbance to granulation tissue
• Transparency allows easy monitoring of a wound or graft
• Non-adherent
CONFORMANT*2 Non-Adherent Contact Layer is indicated for OTC use in the management of minor wounds including: abrasions, skin tears and minor burns or scalds.
Under the care of a health care professional, this dressing may be used in the management of partial- and full-thickness wounds including: leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, surgical wounds and diabetic foot ulcers.
Contraindicated for use on third-degree burns.
During the body's normal healing process, unnecessary material is removed from the wound which will make the wound appear larger after the first few dressing changes. If the wound continues to get larger after the first few dressing changes, consult an appropriate health care professional.
Should any signs of irritation (redness, swelling, increased burning sensation), maceration (over-hydration of the skin), hyper-granulation (excess tissue) or sensitivity (allergic reactions) appear, discontinue use and consult an appropriate health care professional.
This product is not recommended for use on sensitive areas, such as around the face and eyes, unless under the advice of an appropriate health care professional.

For Burns:
Cleanse the wound using sterile saline or other appropriate wound cleanser. Dressing may be coated with topical ointment, cut to size and then wrapped around a burn before applying the secondary dressing. If repeated cleansing is necessary, this may be done through the dressing.
For Shallow Chronic Wounds (Stage 2 Ulcers):
Cleanse the wound using sterile saline or other appropriate wound cleanser. Apply dressing directly to the wound site so that the edges extend beyond the wound edge. Apply the secondary dressing. If repeat cleansing is necessary, this may be done through the dressing.
For Deep Cavity Wounds (Stage 3 or 4):
Cleanse the wound using sterile saline or other appropriate wound cleanser. Apply dressing directly to the wound site so that the edges extend beyond the wound edge. Pack the dressing with powder, paste, granules or other appropriate packing material before applying. If repeat cleansing is necessary, this may be done through the dressing.
