Contraindications

Prospera Flex® NPWT System
• Malignancy in the wound bed or wound margins
• Previously confirmed and untreated osteomyelitis
• Non-enteric and unexplored fistulas
• Necrotic tissue with eschar
• Exposed arteries, veins, nerves, or organs
• Anastomotic sites
• Emergency airway aspiration
• Pleural, mediastinal, or chest tube drainage
• Surgical suction
• Patients with high (>37.5 mL/day) exudate flow rates
• Neonates, infants, or children
Lumitech® Incisional Wound Dressings
• Third degree burns
• Heavily bleeding wounds
• Individuals who are sensitive to or have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its components
• Surgical procedures as a surgical sponge
• Heavily exudating wound incisions

Warnings and Precautions

• Use only under the direction of a licensed clinician.
• Monitor patients at risk for bleeding complications.
• Do not reuse, reprocess, or re-sterilize components intended for single use.
• Do not use if package contents are opened or damaged.
• Ensure tubing and dressing seals remain intact during therapy.
• Monitor wounds regularly for signs of infection or deterioration.
• Dressing changes should be performed by licensed and trained clinicians.
• Do not use oil-based products that may compromise dressing seal integrity.
• Discontinue use if signs of allergic reaction occur.
• Read and understand all warnings, cautions, and directions before use.
• Remove dressing and rinse wound if signs of allergic reaction occur.
• Ensure dressing adheres securely to skin.
• Replace dressing if adhesion weakens.
• If dressing is saturated or no longer absorbing, replace immediately.
• Ensure dressing fully covers the incision.
• If dressing tears during application, discard and replace.
• Use caution when removing the dressing to avoid skin irritation.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature and avoid excessive heat and humidity.
Avoid exposure to sunlight.
Keep dry.

Mode of Use/Application

Apply the Lumitech® Incisional Wound Dressing over the closed incision and initiate Prospera Flex® NPWT therapy according to clinician instructions.

Removal & Change Frequency

Change dressing as needed when wet, soiled, leaking, or as directed by a licensed clinician.

Construction

Convenience kit consisting of a Prospera Flex® NPWT System, Lumitech® Incisional Wound Dressings, compatible UV flashlight, and accessories.

Warranty

Prospera Flex® NPWT device is warranted for seven (7) days from initial use or until expiration, whichever occurs first.
