Benefits

Prevents breakdown of skin caused by friction and shear by acting as an artificial blister. Excellent for use with CPAP masks, oxygen masks, tubing, podiatry (heel/toes), braces, casts, or any other article that contacts the skin. They are ultra-thin for maximum comfort and use a gentle skin-sensitive adhesive to stay in place.

Indications

Protects against skin breakdown due to friction and shear.

Contraindications

• Do not apply LiquiCell Shear Points over current blisters, open skin, pre-existing skin conditions or thinning skin.
• If skin shows signs of new or increased irritation after application, remove, discontinue use and contact a physician or care provider.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not apply LiquiCell Shear Points over current blisters, open skin, pre-existing skin conditions or thinning skin.
• Gently and slowly remove from skin. Should Shear Points Skin Friction Protector become difficult to remove, use a mild lotion or skin sensitive oil to help with removal.
• If skin shows signs of new or increased irritation after application, remove, discontinue use and contact a physician or care provider.
• Inspect for damage. Should LiquiCell Shear Points become punctured and liquid contacts the eyes, flush immediately with clean water for 15 minutes. If irritation develops contact a physician or care provider.
• Do not reuse.

Storage Requirements

Use and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location (e.g., local exhaust ventilation, fans). Do not store in damaged or unmarked containers or storage devices. Keep containers securely closed when not in use.
