Manuka Honey Non-Adherent Dressings and Wrap are permeable non-adherent primary dressings with active medical grade Manuka honey. These dressings consists of Gentell honey impregnated into an acetate gauze. Dressing properties cause honey to gel with wound fluid and create an easy to remove Manuka honey dressing.

Indications

Manuka Honey Non-Adherent Dressings and Wrap are for use in moist wound management.

Under the supervision of a health care professional, these wound dressings may be used for: leg ulcers, pressure injuries, first- and second-degree burns (superficial and partial-thickness), diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not use if patient is allergic to honey.

Mode of Use/Application

Apply these dressings directly to wound bed.

Removal & Change Frequency

Daily or as needed. These dressings can stay in place up to 7 days, but change if dressing becomes pale or lifts from the wound. If dressing is dry, saturate with saline solution and gently remove.
