Benefits

• Dome-like silicone port pad design is durable enough to withstand collapsing under NPWT, yet soft and comfortable
• Dressing stays intact while fluid is injected through the secondary port on the port pad
• Can inject normal saline, antimicrobials and antibiotics as ordered by the clinician

Indications

Use with Nisus® NPWT pump device only.
Use with Nisus® NPWT dressing kit in the wound base.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use when there is a malignancy of the wound, untreated osteomyelitis, non-enteric and unexplored fistula or necrotic tissue that is greater than 20% of wound bed.

Warnings and Precautions

Read and understand all warnings, cautions and directions completely and carefully before use. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
Do not reuse, reprocess or re-sterilize this product. This device is for single use only. Reuse,
reprocessing or re-sterilization may damage the product and may result in injury, infection or death.
Do not use if the individual package is opened or if the package or port pad is damaged. Carefully inspect the product for damage or defects prior to use.
Disposal of used port pad should follow facility policies or local ordinances relating to the handling of potentially infected or bio-hazardous materials.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat and humidity.

Mode of Use/Application

NPWT Cleanse Therapy is designed for use by licensed health care professionals only. Patients may be trained to perform some limited functions, but the keypad and device menus are locked by the health care professional to prevent the patient from changing the setting prescribed by the physician. NPWT Cleanse Therapy is generally used for 7-14 days or as ordered by the clinician.

Construction

Port pad assembly comprised of soft silicone port pad, tubing, luer connector, irrigation port and pinch clamp
60mL luer lock disposable syringe without needle
Each kit is single-use and housed in a Tyvek® peel pouch; inner kit components are individually pouched and sterilized by ethylene oxide
