Polyderm™ Border is indicated for use on dermal ulcers (pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, secreting lesions), second-degree burns, donor sites, lacerations, cuts, abrasions and other superficial wounds.
Local wound care cannot overcome the deficits of unrelieved malnutrition, pressure or trauma or compromised blood flow. Interventions must be instituted to reduce/relieve these factors that contribute to impaired wound healing in order to achieve the optimum outcome.

If necessary, cleanse/flush wound with saline or other non-irritating solution. Center Polyderm™ Border over the wound and gently press foam in place. Secure with Fluftex Roll Gauze™, Stretch Net™ retention dressing, tape or other securing wrap.
Leave the dressing in place unless it is uncomfortable, leaking or there are signs of clinical infection. To remove Polyderm, gently peel the tape/wrap from the dressing. Carefully lift dressing off. Dispose of soiled dressing per institution's policy.
