• Do not adjust therapy settings unless authorized and trained.
• Inspect unit, accessories, tubing, and cables before use.
• Use only with Prospera Spectrum® NPWT canisters and compatible components.
• Ensure dressing seal integrity and active negative pressure therapy.
• Monitor system settings, alarms, battery life, and canister status regularly.
• Protect fragile periwound skin from maceration and injury.
• Monitor wounds for signs of infection or wound deterioration.
• Monitor exudate for changes in color, consistency, or excessive bleeding.
• Discontinue therapy and seek medical attention if therapy is interrupted for more than two hours.
• Do not clean the unit while powered on.
• Do not modify or perform internal maintenance on the unit.
• Avoid direct contact between wound dressings and exposed organs, vessels, nerves, tendons, or ligaments.
Store in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
Charge the battery before placing the unit into storage.
Fully recharge the unit if not used for extended periods.
Verify alarm functionality every six months or if an alarm issue is suspected.

Change dressings and canisters according to clinician direction and facility protocol. During dressing removal, ensure all wound fillers are removed and avoid tearing fillers within the wound.
