The Versa Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System is indicated for use in patients who would benefit from negative pressure wound therapy particularly as the device may promote wound healing by the removal of excess exudates, infectious material, and tissue debris. The Versa Negative Wound Therapy System is only intended to be used with the Cork NPWT Wound Dressing Kit (K132004) and the Versa 100 ml Canister. The Versa Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System is suitable for use in both a professional healthcare facility and home use environment.
The Versa NPWT System is contraindicated for use when patients with:
• Malignancy in the wound
• Untreated osteomyelitis
• Non-enteric and unexplored fistulas
• Necrotic tissue with eschar present
After complete debridement and removal of eschar, Versa NPWT system may be used.

The Versa NPWT System is used with the Cork NPWT Wound Dressing Kit in accordance with clinician instructions. After the dressing is applied, the device is connected to the canister and tubing, and negative pressure therapy is initiated using the pressure level and mode prescribed by the clinician. Dressing and canister changes should be completed based on facility protocol or clinical judgment.
