Indications

ALGISITE* M Calcium Alginate Dressing may be used for: lacerations, abrasions, skin tears, minor burns, diabetic, pressure or venous ulcers, and surgical wounds.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use on lightly exuding wounds, wounds with packed cavities and sinuses (remove packing before application) or on individuals with a preexisting alginate allergy.
