Derma-Gel® Hydrogel Sheet is a soft, flexible, semi-occlusive hydrogel dressing that is bacteriostatic and absorbs 5 times its weight in fluid. Non-adherent to permit frequent wound inspection. Glycerine-based.

Indications

Derma-Gel® Hydrogel Sheet is indicated for use on pressure injuries, partial- and full-thickness wounds, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, lacerations and abrasions, and first- and second-degree burns.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for patients with known hypersensitivity to glycerin.

Mode of Use/Application

Ensure wound area is clean and dry. Apply hydrogel-side down. Leave cloth backing in place. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing.

Removal & Change Frequency

Derma-Gel® may be left in place for up to 5 days. Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Medifix tape, film, elastic net, or tubular bandages.
