McKesson Oil Emulsion Dressings are non-adhesive dressings that consist of a high-porosity gauze dressing impregnated with petrolatum. Can be used directly on draining wounds beneath a secondary absorbent dressing.
• Infused with an emulsified blend of U.S.P. Petrolatum; compatible with other treatments
• Sterile and non-adherent to resist sticking to skin; helps to enhance patient comfort
• Minimal maceration and occlusion due to open mesh, knitted fabric
• Resists shredding or unraveling when trimmed to size
• Single use
McKesson Oil Emulsion Dressing can be used on any draining wound, including skin ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, infected areas, suture lines, lacerations, colostomies, and episiotomy incisions.
