Indications

Pulsar II™ Advanced Wound Irrigation (AWI™) System is for use on partial- and full-thickness wounds, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, arterial and venous insufficiency wounds, and traumatic wounds.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use on wet or dry gangrene or exposed soft organ tissues.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not treat during hemodialysis with full heparinization or within 6 hours of completion of hemodialysis treatment.

Pulsar II™ Advanced Wound Irrigation (AWI™) System is a site specific, enclosed, disposable system of wound irrigation and pulsed hydromechanical debridement, assisting in skin and wound cleansing and granulation tissue formation.

Removal & Change Frequency

Simple wound irrigation is typically ordered with each dressing change. Hydromechanical debridement is as per physician order by a qualified health care professional.
