Sofsorb® Specialty Shape Dressings are non-adherent, multi-layer absorbent wound dressings available in anatomically shaped configurations for exudate management in difficult-to-dress areas.

• Supports wound site protection from further trauma
• Soft pliability allows for range of motion exercises during recovery
• Appropriate for most wounds of various etiologies
• Can be used for up to 7 days under compression for low to highly exudative environments
• Cost-effective solution compared to traditional dressings requiring frequent dressing changes
• Saline or topical agents may be applied prior to use
DeRoyal Sofsorb® Absorbent Wound Dressings are designed to be used on burn wounds, post-operative incision sites, heavily draining skin ulcers, heavily draining pressure sores, lacerations, and abrasions.

Sofsorb® may be applied wet or dry. To apply wet, saturate with saline or preferred solution and squeeze out excess fluid. Apply with the wound contact layer toward the wound surface and secure with an appropriate secondary dressing.
Dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days when clinically appropriate. Change frequency should be based on wound condition, exudate level, and clinician assessment.
Stretch Net™, tape, or roll gauze for securement.
1. Non-adherent wound contact layer
2. StayDry™ liner that permits passage of wound drainage and helps keep surrounding skin dry
3. Center layer that absorbs wound drainage
4. Cellulose layer that wicks drainage horizontally to increase absorption capacity
5. Air-permeable backing for strength and durability
