ZeniCOL

ZeniCOL, is a sterile, absorbent wound dressing composed of freeze-fried, cross-linked Type I bovine collagen. The dressing forms a biodegradable gel when in contact with wound exudate, helping maintain a moist wound environment. Mode of Use/Application

1. Debride when necessary and cleanse the wound according to clinical practice
2. Gently dry the surrounding skin.
3. Select a dressing size that closely matches the wound surface area. The dressing can be cut to size with sterile scissors to better match the wound area. Apply either side of the product to the wound. The product may be moistened with sterile saline to pre-form the gel if the wound bed is very dry.
4. The amount of ZeniCOL to be used depends on the size of the wound and the amount of exudate. At most, 2 pieces of ZeniCOL (4”x4”) can be used at a time.
5. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing.

Removal & Change Frequency

1. Change frequency depends on the wound condition and exudate level. Replace ZeniCOL when changing the secondary dressing, or as instructed by a healthcare professional.
2. To remove, gently irrigate any remaining ZeniCOL from the wound surface.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.
