Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® is a silicone foam dressing that binds using a physical mode of action for infection and exudate management.
• Binds bacteria with Cutimed® Sorbact® as the wound contact layer
• Smart pore structure and super-absorbers ensure vertical absorption of exudate, reducing the risk of maceration
• Dynamic moisture vapor transmission rate allows the fluid to transpire while also maintaining a moisture balance
Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® is indicated for use in the management of moderate to heavily exuding partial- to full-thickness wounds (including clean, colonized, contaminated or infected wounds), chronic wounds (venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers), postoperative dehisced wounds and traumatic wounds.
Do not use Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® on dry wounds. Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to the dressing components.
Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® is packaged for single use. Do not re-use or re-sterilize as there is a risk of transmission of body fluids or contaminated tissue between patients. Do not use if pouch is opened or damaged.
Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide.
Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® is not intended to be cut. Avoid overlapping two or more Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® dressings.
Do not use Cutimed® Siltec® Sorbact® in combination with ointments or creams.
