Indications

Mesalt® Sodium Chloride Impregnated Gauze is indicated for use on heavily draining and discharging infected wounds in the inflammatory phase, deep cavity wounds, pressure injuries and surgical wounds.

Warnings and Precautions

Mesalt® Sodium Chloride Impregnated Gauze is not to be used on lightly exuding or dry wounds.

Mode of Use/Application

Clean the wound and open the package. Apply or loosely pack Mesalt® (dry) to the wound. Do not soak beforehand. Apply an appropriate cover dressing, depending on the amount of exudate.

Removal & Change Frequency

Change daily or more often if necessary, depending on the amount of drainage.
