ZeniABSORB

ZeniABSORB is a sterile, multilayered dressing used to absorb moderate to heavily drainage. Composed of water-resistant backing, superabsorbent core and hydro-penetrating layers to lock exudate in the dressing.

Indications

ZeniABSORB is for use on pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, and moderate to heavily draining wounds.

Contraindications

Do not use ZeniABSORB on dry or low exuding wounds, eyes, mucous membranes or in wound cavities.
Do not use on third-degree burns.
Do not use if a known allergy or hypersensitivity exists to the dressing or its components.

Warnings and Precautions

ZeniABSORB is single use only. Do not re-use.
Do not use the dressing if the sterilized packaging is damaged or open.
Do not cut the dressing. The cover must remain intact.

Storage Requirements

Store in a cool, dry place and avoid light.

Mode of Use/Application

ZeniABSORB Super Absorbent Dressing is used to provide maximum absorption from heavily draining wounds. The white side of the dressing faces the wound. ZeniABSORB does not have an adhesive border and must be secured in place with another dressing such as gauze or as directed by your medical provider. Do not cut ZeniABSORB dressing.

Removal & Change Frequency

Gently lift ZeniABSORB to remove and discard. Replace ZeniABSORB daily, when the secondary dressing is changed or as instructed by your medical provider.

Additional Recommended Dressings

ZeniABSORB does not have an adhesive border and must be secured in place with another dressing such as gauze or as directed by your medical provider.

Construction

Protective outer backing that is water resistant and prevents drainage strike through. Super absorbent core for exceptional absorption capacity, minimizes risk of maceration and locks drainage inside dressing. Hydro-penetrating layer touches the surface of the wound for rapid exudate penetration.
