Indications

ZeniFIBER-Ag is for use on moderate to heavily draining wounds, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, post-op surgical wounds, pressure injuries, graft sites, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, and deep or shallow draining wounds.

Contraindications

Do not use on third-degree burns.
Do not use on dry wounds.
Do not use if known sensitivities exist to silver.

Warnings and Precautions

ZeniFIBER-Ag is for single use only. Do not use if pouch is damaged or open.
Do not use ZeniFIBER-Ag on dry wounds.
Effective antimicrobial effect when ZeniFIBER-Ag is changed daily.
Frequent or prolonged use of ZeniFIBER-Ag may result in permanent discoloration of the skin.

Storage Requirements

Store ZeniFIBER-Ag in the sealed package in a cool, dry place and avoid light.

Mode of Use/Application

ZeniFIBER-Ag silver calcium alginate dressing is used to absorb wound drainage while providing bacterial reduction and odor. It is available as a pad or rope and may be cut to size. Place ZeniFIBERAg over shallow wounds or loosely pack and fill deep or tunneling wounds.

Removal & Change Frequency

As ZeniFIBER-Ag absorbs wound drainage, it turns into a gel that will rinse easily from the wound during dressing changes. If ZeniFIBER-Ag is intact at the time of dressing change, moisten with sterile saline to soften for easy removal and consult with your medical provider to discontinue use due to decreased wound drainage. Replace ZeniFIBER-Ag daily, when the secondary dressing is changed or as instructed by your medical provider.

Additional Recommended Dressings

ZeniFIBER-Ag dressings require an appropriate absorbent secondary cover dressing such as a foam, super absorbent, gauze dressing or as directed by your medical provider.
