Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel is indicated for use by health care professionals in the management of partial- and full-thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous insufficiency ulcers, graft wound and donor sites, surgical incisions, cuts, abrasions, or intact and/or irritated skin.
Contraindicated for use on moderately to severely exudating wounds.
For external use only. Do not use in the eyes.
Store at room temperature with general room ventilation; 24-month shelf life.

Debride wound if necessary or cleanse wound with a wound cleanser such as Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Cleanser.
Apply a generous amount (1/4" to 1/2" thick) of Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel to entire wound bed, including areas of undermining. Apply a thin coating to periwound skin area and allow to dry. Cover with appropriate wound dressing or covering (avoid silver and other wound dressings containing heavy metals).
Indwelling vascular catheters: Apply sufficient quantity of Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel to completely cover skin area around the indwelling vascular catheter. Cover with appropriate site dressing.
Ostomy: Apply a thin coating of Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel to peristomal area. Allow to dry. Apply ostomy appliance.
Skin care: Cleanse affected area with appropriate skin cleanser such as Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Cleanser. Allow to dry. Apply a thin coating of Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin & Wound Gel. Reapply as necessary.
Change dressing once a day. Maintain a moist wound environment between dressing changes. Reapply as necessary.
