Indications

BIOCOL™ is indicated for use on chronic and acute wounds as well as full- and partial-thickness wounds, including: venous stasis ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers, and first- and second-degree burns.

Mode of Use/Application

Prepare the wound site using standard wound bed preparation protocol. Push and bend dispenser top to open and apply BIOCOL™ to the wound site. Apply powder over the entire wound surface up to (1/8)" thick, loosely filling cavities or undermined areas. Cover the wound with a secondary dressing. Maintain a moist wound healing environment. Change the secondary dressing and reapply BIOCOL™ as required.

Removal & Change Frequency

Daily or as needed. Forms a gel that does not need to be removed from the wound bed.
