Kendall™ AMD Antimicrobial Foam Discs
Kendall™ AMD Antimicrobial Foam Discs are impregnated with 0.5% PHMB to help provide a protective barrier for catheter insertion. Also ideal for use around external fixation devices.

• PHMB helps to resist bacterial colonization within the foam dressing and inhibits growth through the dressing
Kendall™ AMD Antimicrobial Foam Discs are ideal in the local management of exudate that may occur at exit sites such as IV catheters, central venous lines, arterial catheters, dialysis catheters, peripherally inserted coronary catheters, tracheostomy, g-tube, j-tube, penrose drain, chest tube, etc.
Dakin's Solution cleanser may inactivate PHMB. This will reduce the efficacy but should not be dangerous to patient health.
