Indications

Acute closed surgical wounds

Contraindications

• Third degree burns
• Heavily bleeding wounds
• Individuals who are sensitive to or have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its components
• Surgical procedures as a surgical sponge
• Heavily exudating wound incisions

Warnings and Precautions

• Read and understand all warnings, cautions, and directions before use.
• Do not reuse, reprocess, or re-sterilize.
• Do not use if the package is opened or damaged.
• Seek medical attention if signs of surgical site infection or allergic reaction occur.
• Remove dressing and rinse wound if signs of allergic reaction occur.
• Ensure dressing adheres securely to skin.
• Replace dressing if adhesion weakens.
• If dressing is saturated or no longer absorbs, replace immediately.
• Ensure dressing fully covers the incision.
• If dressing tears during application, discard and replace.
• Use caution when removing the dressing to avoid skin irritation.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight during wear.
• Do not shine UV flashlight into eyes.
• Keep UV flashlight away from children.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature and avoid excessive heat and humidity.
Avoid exposure to sunlight.

Recommended Use

Acute Wounds
Surgical Wounds

Mode of Use/Application

Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. Center the dressing over the incision and apply according to the Instructions for Use. Secure with additional strips if needed.

Removal & Change Frequency

Change dressing as needed when wet, soiled, leaking, or as directed by a licensed clinician.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Compatible with Prospera Flex® Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Systems.

Construction

Integrated wound contact layer, fluid absorbent woven fibers, pressure-distributive polyurethane foam, and breathable water-resistant polyurethane film border incorporating Lumina® Adhesive Technology.

Warranty

DeRoyal products are warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of shipment against defects in product quality and workmanship.
