Indications

• Polyderm wound dressings are indicated for minor abrasions, minor lacerations, and minor scalds and burns.
• When under the care or direction of a licensed practitioner they are indicated for:
• Dermal ulcers (e.g., pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and other secreting lesions)
• Second degree burns
• Donor sites
• Tube sites
• More severe lacerations, cuts and abrasions
• Other superficial wounds

Contraindications

• Polyderm wound dressings are contraindicated for:
• Third-degree burns
• Heavily bleeding wounds
• Individuals who are sensitive to or have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its materials
• Use during surgical procedures as a surgical sponge

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not reuse.
• Do not use if package is opened, damaged, or defective.
• Discontinue use if signs of an allergic reaction occur.
• If dressing rips or tears prior to application, discard.
• Remove adhesive dressings carefully.
• Read all warnings, cautions, and directions before use.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature and avoid excessive heat and humidity.
Keep dry.
Keep away from sunlight.
