PowerHeal antimicrobial wound dressings are composed of advanced microcurrent-generating technology used for the management of superficial wounds including minor scrapes, cuts, burns, and abrasions.
PowerHeal® Antibacterial Bandages feature embedded microcell batteries that generate a low level of electricity when in the presence of a conductive medium such as water-based wound hydrogels, saline, or water.
PowerHeal® Antibacterial Bandage for over-the-counter use is intended for the management of wounds, to provide a moist wound environment, and is indicated for superficial wounds such as minor cuts, scrapes, irritations, abrasions, blisters, etc.
Do not use on individuals with sensitivity or allergy to silver, zinc, or other bandage components.
Do not use PowerHeal® Bandages with topical agents such as antibiotic creams or ointments, petroleum-based products, enzymatic debriders, silver or zinc creams, or oxidizing agents. Remove PowerHeal® during energy-based procedures (such as radiofrequency, ultrasound, or radiation) where the bandage may interfere with delivery. MR unsafe. Remove PowerHeal® prior to a MRI or HBOT procedure and apply a new bandage after the procedure. Avoid direct bandage contact with electrodes or conductive gels during electronic measurements; e.g., EEG (electroencephalogram) or ECG (electrocardiogram).
Adverse effects/reactions include, but are not limited to, allergic reaction to silver or zinc. Dressing may adhere to wound site if dry.

1. Cleanse the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser according to local clinical protocol.
2. Remove PowerHeal® Antimicrobial Wound Dressing from package and, if needed, cut to a shape that will extend beyond wound edges 1cm to 2cm (1/2" to 1"). Caution: cutting may result in fraying of the dressing.
3. Moisten PowerHeal® Antimicrobial Wound Dressing with sterile saline, water or a thin, even layer of water-based hydrogel.
4. Apply PowerHeal® Antimicrobial Wound Dressing with the dotted side down, in direct contact with the wound.
5. Keep the dressing moist by re-moistening as necessary. Avoid over-soaking. Example:
• Dry wounds may require more frequent dressing re-moistening.
• Exuding wounds may require dressing re-moistening only if exudate decreases and the dressing becomes dry.
Regularly check the dressing, as needed complete a dressing change (when the dressing becomes soiled or after seven days of use).
