Indications

For the management of partial- and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, ulcers caused by mixed etiologies, surgical wounds, donor sites, and grafts.

Contraindications

Do not use if allergic to bovine derived materials (milk, beef products, leather, etc.), or with third-degree burns or active vasculitis.

Warnings and Precautions

Single patient use. Sterile until opened. Do not use if package is damaged.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature. Protect product from freezing, as this may alter the efficacy of the product.

Mode of Use/Application

1. Cleanse the wound with a noncytotoxic wound cleanser.
2. Apply DermaCol 100 Gel generously to the wound bed surface, including in any undermining and or tunneling.
3. Cover the wound with a secondary absorbent dressing to provide an advantageous healing environment.
4. Change the dressing every day.
