Mode of Use/Application

Debride when necessary and irrigate the wound site in accordance with standard protocols. Remove excess solution from surrounding skin. Select a size of GEMCORE360°™ High Performance Dressing that is slightly larger than the wound. If required, cut (using sterile scissors) or fold the dressing to fit the wound. Discard any remaining dressing material, due to risk of contamination. Loosely pack deep wounds, ensuring the dressing does not overlap the wound margins. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing. May be moistened to ease removal if necessary.

Removal & Change Frequency

May be left in place for up to seven days.

Additional Recommended Dressings

GEMCORE360° Hydrocolloid, GEMCORE360° Foam Dressing or other appropriate secondary dressing.

Comprised of polysaccharide gelling fibers containing carboxymethylcellulose, this dressing is a highly absorbent and non-woven dressing which turns into a soft, cohesive sheet of gel when in contact with wound exudate. It promotes autolytic debridement and provides improved exudate management and wound healing to challenging cases.
